My first fiction chapbook, Survival Notes, is now available! Survival Notes was the winning manuscript in the 2006 Cervena Barva Press Fiction Chapbook Prize, and it contains much of my best short fiction to date. This is a huge step for me in my writing career. Because I started mainly writing poetry, I never imagined I'd have the chance to compose enough respectable prose to assemble a chapbook like this. Since I truly look at myself as both a poet and fiction writer, this is an important milestone to me.
